Battery discharge settings don't "stick" anymore

I had my bike serviced back in January and they updated the firmware.

Now, it seems that the battery discharge settings don't stick anymore.
I have a range extender battery that I like to use on both short and long rides. When I do a short ride of around 25 miles or less, I can do the whole thing on the range extender alone, saving the main battery. So, I like to have the battery discharge settings set to "range extender first".

Since the firmware update, when I set it to discharge the range extender first, it will do it once until I power the bike off.
Then on the next ride, it's back to using both batteries, even though the setting in the app is still set to discharge range extender first.

To fix this, I have to turn the setting off, power cycle the bike, turn the setting on, then power cycle the bike again. Then it will work correctly until I power off the bike, where it will lose the setting again and I'm back to square one.

Anyone else have this issue, or know a fix?

So as of today, this issue seems to have fixed itself.
Now the battery discharge settings are working like they should.

They did not work on the past 3 rides, but today they're working.

Good to hear the situation has stabilised for your e-bike.
I happened to experience some strangest behaviour from my Vado, for instance after the total rehaul of my e-bike (like, the motor replacement or buying a new battery). For instance, the E-Bike sensors didn't work properly with my Wahoo for several hours post the upgrade. Eventually, everything has stabilised.
