I am looking at building an e-bike for myself and I am wondering what to expect for the battery cost? Can anyone provide me a price range in CAD?

Yea I should have been more specific I was meaning to inquire about ebike batteries specifically and missed saying that

36 volts or 48 volts . . . . or more? 8 amp hours or 16 amp hours . . . . or more? The cheapest made in China cells or name band cells of higher quality?

I like the $250 to $5K answer . . . .
