Bafang M400, M500, DAPU MD250s and throttle

Dears,

I would like to pick some 250W bike (by EU restrictions) and i am considering one of these mid engines: Bafang M400, M500 or DAPU MD250s (i just found nice bikes with that).
And i am wondering is it possible to add a throttle to these engines?

I have looked on forum but have not get clear answers. Could you help?
I would like to use throttle outside of public roads.

@Bubba zanetti , I just got answer from Bafang representative:
"M400 and M500 could support the throttle. But we don't suggest. Firstly, according to europen laws and regulations, e-bike in city shouldn't be design more than 250W/48DCV and with Throttle except special-purpose ebike like eCargo,delivery bike. Secondly, M400& M500 are all 250W motors with 80&95Max torque. Start these two motor with throttle frequency may reduced engine service life."

I have ordered the bike with M500 finally, i think i will get it in two months, i will let you know how throttle is installed.

The throttle in M400 for your case is also confirmed by the other alibaba seller - they are able to install it for m400 engine.

@Bubba zanetti i got a bike, the throttle is just connected and its working fine.
