Bafang G062 motor change

Good afternoon everyone. I am new here and looking for advice. So I did a thing where I bought a bike from china through a group buy in my local town. Order was like 60 bikes. Fast forward 3 years and I have a broken motor. I ordered through the assembly factory a new motor as a “replacement” well I get the motor and it looks the same except a different connector. I am going from a silver plug to red. Silver plug has 10 pins in it and red has 11. Factory just ghosted me when I sent them pictures of the discrepancies and am left hanging with a new motor rim and tire for my bike which won’t work.

Long story short I am wondering if anyone here know if the new motor /plug will have the same harness and a simple plug change will work or is there a different route you would suggest. I am new to this e-bike stuff and would have rather had a shop fix for me but buying direct never seems to work out. I have attached a few pictures of the different plugs. Old plug has 10 pins new plug has 11 (not sure if they are all in use or not)

Thanks in advance as I am dead in the water wondering what to do. A new controller? But then how do I know it will work with other electronics.

That's why I would only buy an ebike from an established bike store.
Even so, my bike is 6 years old and there aren't any mechanics to service my motor.
The store I bought from has closed and the one replacing it only services Specialized bikes.

You can find G062 motors, some even brand new, if you search around on amazon or eBay. I have a Juiced RipCurrent S with one of these motors, and I bought a spare online which I keep for the day (if it ever comes) when my motor croaks. That may never come. The motor is fantastic in my opinion. In fact there are whole wheel assemblies available since Juiced went out of business in case you wouldn’t have to rebuild your wheel...

I have one of the connectors like yours on the left. The one you got for a replacement looks like it has a bunch of pins that I know nothing about. My guess is that you probably can’t use that motor.

Good luck.

Oh, one other thing… The G062 classification is kind of a family of motors, not specific enough to actually order a part. You need to know exactly what Bafang motor you’re replacing, and the details are usually stamped into the metal casing of the motor. Like below:

How do you lnow the motor itself is broken?
The Bafangs just have the three big phase wires and five for the halls, pos, neg and three halls.
Some have an extra for temp or speed.
You really need an adaptor, dont know of such a part.
Most controllers will work with just the three big ones connected in any combination, but it will be less smooth.
