Bafang display replacement

I recently bought a used electronic bike.
It has a bafang mm g330 motor and a display all branded "egoing"

Unfortunately some vandal has left burn marks on the plastic covering the display, making it hard to read.

I was looking to either replace the plastic or buy a new display and therefore looking to this forum for help, as I'm not sure which displays are compatible with my motor. Everywhere I look, new displays are for the bb01 and bb02 models.

Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

If it's of any help, because you have a Bafang motor, there is no assurance a Bafang display is going to work out for you. Bafang hub drives use a 3rd party controller, and the display that will work with that controller is what you are after. The controller and the display must be compatible!

Though there are a few exceptions, the Bafang brand displays are generally used with Bafang mid drives, which use built in/internal controllers by Bafang.

Point being, the display in your pic is not likely a Bafang display.

The display does have the green UART connector, does that say anything about compatibility?

Sorry, I can't be of much more help. I'd feel bad feeding you info that could be wrong. Have a look at this for some ideas maybe-

If that round green pin connector on the controller side is a male plug, which is a bafang oddity for their mid drive displays, a BBS02 display might work, but it's $76 shot-in-the-dark gamble.

Everyone else that I've seen uses a female connector on the controller side of the cable. That would be all the KT displays, the Brainpower S866 and S830, and my SW900 display, All of these use the same pinout by the way, and will power up if plugged into a foreign controller, but they won't work. My BBS02 display is the C965.

The attached image is the display side, so that speaks for a bafang display, right?
On the back of the display is written something like :
DP C102.U30
601K1S1270637

The bike is a Kildemoes 👍🏻 and the display is exactly like the one in the second link, but that display is extremely pricy. 🙁

On the bold, worth repeating, just in case you missed it the first time.

As I suggested, try APT for some leads. And the Aliexpress vendor Kildermoes.

I imagine the Swedish source is piling on their incredibly high taxes?

This site lists the display as compatible with Kildermoes mid

Thanks a lot. Apparently my motor is also called Max drive m400, I had been looking for the name mm g330.

I had already been looking at boxbike.dk as I am also from Denmark. Now I have found some solid info that my motor is compatible with eg. The DP-C10U and the DP-C18 etc. Now I just need to decide if I'm going with the cheaper LCD or the very nice looking color version. 🤪

I wish you had mentioned it was a mid drive and not a hubmotor, but if it is a bafang middrive then any of their middrive displays work. I've been using the cheapest mono display for five years, but if I only had one ebike, I'd go for color,

Yup, I just assumed he was working on a hub drive as well. Details, details.....

Ive used 961 and 965 B&W displays on two bikes since 2014. The 963 remains my favorite. Unfortunately i let mine go as i had forgotten it was on the new 01B folder i built and sold. My last one. And the guy liked and wouldn’t trade it back for color. Clean and simple. I watch color TV on a 43” screen.

I identified it as a mid on Sunday.

Sorry. I have no idea what the difference between a mid and hub drive is.
In my native language it's called a center motor, as it is in the center of the bike. As I mentioned the exact model of motor, I was convinced, that someone who could help me, would know what kind of motor I was talking about.
