Would you purchase and/or ride Babel eBike? And if you would, would it be for safety?

Odd is right; I'm a bit concerned with that higher center of gravity causing handling issues, unless of course you want to strap some canvas on the back of the body frame and make it a sailing bike.

I guess being strapped in, and having the roll cage around you might make the helmet redundant?

Don't understand how this bike could be considered the safest of any bike? It's 2 wheels, the rider is exposed. Just not seeing it. <shrug>

It's the whole concept of "passive safety" vs "active safety". You might be marginally safer if a car crashed into you, but "marginally" doesn't mean much in that circumstance!

I would rather be able to look around and see where I'm at more clearly - active safety.
