Was just reading up on this bike. It’s been out for a few months, and I wonder if anyone has gotten one and/or written any review(s) on EBR about it.
Aventon has applied their (A100) mid-drive motor to a fat bike. I’m not sure if any other manufacturer is making a fat bike like this anymore. And this one has some really cool, modern features including electronic derailleur. Also, having an available throttle is cool and unusual for a mid-drive.
It’s nice to see Aventon taking the lead here since Juiced and (now) Rad have bowed out of the game. I, for one, am happy to see continual development and innovation in this space.
