Anyone Using Full Suspension EMTB as Their Only Bike ?

I did for about 4 months. We can’t ride our single trails around here when it’s wet, so I didn’t have knobbies on it. I ride a Haibike Full Seven class 3.

Sure did. I had a commuter hub-drive for 3 years, then I purchased my dream bike eMTB (Haibike 10.0 Sduro) and I was hooked. Took it everywhere and practically kept the commuter in storage. It was a "go everywhere" bike. The overall performance had me off/on trails more than the commuter. The bike put a lot more confidence in my ride and I was willing to tackle more technical riding and develop better riding skills. I will not ditch the commuter, however, I think I will ride it less during each season moving forward. Nice thread!

Which Haibike Full Seven is Class 3 ?

I ride a 2016 Haibike Sduro Full Seven AllMtn Plus and I rarely ride my three conventional bikes. (In 2016 Haibike's naming convention translated thus: Sduro=Yamaha motor; Full=full suspension; Seven=27.5-inch wheels; AllMtn=mountain bike; Plus=3-inch wide tires.) I have about 8,700 miles on it. Mods include a Jones H-bar, Ergon grips, Old Man Mountain rear rack, Ortlieb panniers, pedals, bell, mirror, Brooks saddle and tool bag, LED lights fore and aft, kickstand, GoPro camera. I had to replace the dropper seat post and one of the tires. It's my go-everywhere, all-terrain bike. It's been very reliable.

Great accessorizing indeed. I was at the Old Man Mountain website and they have a nice selection of rack bags made for carrying extra batteries, etc. Looks like they are an old and very well established brand.

Old Man Mountain was purchased by The Robert Axle Project a few months ago. Not sure if Channing Hammond (the founder of OMM) is still involved. The Robert Axle project provides the longer axles necessary for OMM racks to clamp onto and provide a very secure support. The OMM Sherpa rack was the only rack I found that could fit over my plus-size tires and provide strong support for the load in my panniers. It was also the only rack that worked with my rear suspension. The axle provides the main support, and the other attachment points are to the swing arms of the seat stays. The rack moves together with the rear suspension, in other words.
