Anyone figured out a chain ring protection option for pant cuffs?

I do have a plastic cover over my chainring but I also found it also best to quick change into biking sweat pants before riding. Tight leg'd, much more comfortable than jeans, breathes and with wind protection... and if you do work up a sweat, it's nice to easily get out of them when you return.

I just use a reflectorized metal clip. If you ride at night, reflectors on your pedals or on your legs are important. A reflector going up and down will distinguish a cyclist from stationary reflectors on the side of the road.

Urban Drivestyle has a Chain Guarding Tube thingy for protecting pants....but good luck getting it shipped because they are based in Germany. I guess you could rig one up yourself though.

THAT, is one weird invention. I wonder what it sounds like with the chain rubbing against that tube. Also that area of the chain is usually well away from your pant legs, (unless your wearing bell bottoms) sooo how useful is it?
Hopefully you don't have to cut the chain to install it !

Vintage solution.
