I did RC helicopters for awhile god what a huge learning curve but they had small ones so it was easy in smaller areas. but so much crashing my hands are not really precise and I would often lose orientation. but it was a blast flying backward and upside down. but it was too much money and I had to go farther to fly and that was a lot of wasted time.
Yeah, RC flying is a great hobby as long as you don't run afoul of some FAA regulation. If caught violating one, the fines can be steep. I live so close to an airport, I feel like I have to file a flight plan when jumping off my deck into the pool.
Ive still got a vintage Tamiya buggy in the loft, keep meaning to battery it up.

You can install a FPV camera on your RC plane, helicopter, or car and fly/drive it while looking through the windshield of your RC machine.
