I'd like to replace the front round headlight with something smaller but still effective. LED of course.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions they've seen on eBay or Amazon etc. I've attached pictures of some ideas.

I recently installed a Lezyne E-Bike Micro Drive 500 LED light. It’s compact, lightweight, and pretty bright. It has an aluminum housing and provides side illumination. Amazon has it for $50.

@McCorby - Does that light plug into the bike's wiring? I think it's got its own battery, right? I want to upgrade the headlight on my Giant Explore E+1 and so far the only interesting option I've found is an Axendo 80 from Spanninga. It is supposedly plug and play on my bike.

The light does not come with a separate battery. It is specifically designed to be used on e-bikes. The Shimano E8000 motor on my bike has terminals for lights and they can be turned on and off with a button on the Shimano display. You will need to confirm your bike's lighting voltage and wattage output for compatibility. The Lezyne light requires 6 - 12 volts and 6 Watts. The Lezyne website has a compatability chart for the major motor manufacturers (I.e. Shimano, Bosch, Brose, Yamaha....)

Do the lights have a blinking option for daytime riding? I don't feel as safe on the roads without a headlight strobe feature (a lot of distracted drivers). Another issue I have with my LED Niterider 3600 Pro trail LED is they will blind on coming bike riders/walkers/joggers at every setting. Flood LEDs are perfect for the trails, especially, on the look out for low branches and tight turns.

The more expensive brands like Busch & Muller are made for street travel and have that sharp cut-off so not to blind on-coming folks like newer vehicles with LED or HID headlights.

Mainly went with Niterider because being super bright for daytime work commuting, I can detach for hiking/camping, and can turn night into day when eMTB in the woods on a moonless night. Head band option even came in handy when we lost power in our neighborhood at night a few times.
