Hello there guys;

Any good ebike with good parts and price from Aliexpress?

My budget is around $1200-1500 US dollar;

I see Radrover, voltbike and rizebike import from china and sell as their brand but i want to save more money and order straight from China..

Watch the shipping costs, they are extremely high for a single purchase. Also incredibly difficult getting replacement parts. Well difficult to get in a timely manner.

Don't know about Voltbike but RAD does not "import from china and sell as their brand". They are the brand, designing their bikes. Manufacturing is done in China.
Vast majority of ebikes, even expensive brands, are made in China or assembled from parts made in China.

I'm not so sure about that. BAM bikes looked incredibly similar to RadPower and they went to court to stop BAM.

Doesn't mean that RAD didn't design their bikes, does it?

But then, the very concept of design process in ebike industry is funny. US or European company engineers go to China, look what frames are available (there are many to choose from), what motor they would like to put in, what controller etc. All this already exists.

After that, it's a matter of specifying type of brakes, shifters and other parts manufactured in thousands for both regular and electrical bikes. Sometimes they specify this or that winding for the motor. Some US company might indeed order a frame of their own design, and then nothing stops factory across the street from making same frame - or clone the entire bike, this is China.

Anyway, even with this "autopilot" kind of creative process, there is still a bit of research and time invested, and stating that those are Chinese bikes that the US company has merely re-labeled wouldn't be fair. Though some US companies do exactly this - relabel a Chinese bike without any changes.

For $1200-1500, you might be better off ordering domestic to save you the hassles of support, etc. Plus there are quite a few owners here of bikes in that price range.

Here's a good guide:

Be thorough like this guide advises. Demand full specs, fast replies and proven history.

You can get a lot for your money but there are many things to be aware of. As it's said here there's a lot of value in dealer support but if you're not in the US then this isn't usually any help.
Bafang have a service centre in the Netherlands if you're in Europe. You can buy Rad bikes from Europe now but who wants to buy a 250W bike for the same price as the US 750W version. Plus shipping the upgrades just to make it the same from Bolton Ebikes will cost you way over $2000. Just not worth it.

It's good to educate yourself on motors too
