And another one!

Grabbed one of these while theyre still around, prices are too good not to buy at least one and I might get another for spare parts. Bought the bike today but won't have it until Monday when my dealer delivers it to me in the small town I live in. The previous poster was correct about these bikes standing out among all the clones on the dealers floor. This bike will join my other e-bikes, a Pedego Platinum Interceptor and a Haibike Sduro Trekking 9, along with my 20 year old conventional Kona. I'll post a review when I get a few miles on the Elby.

Congrats! We'd love to see pics & read your review when you get some time with it :)

The Elby has quickly become my favourite eBike, it's a hoot. I can't believe people aren't snapping these up before there are no more BionX parts and while they're selling for wholesale prices, I paid half of what my other bikes cost me.

Maybe they aren't snapping them up BECAUSE there will be no more BionX parts?

Right. They're still making them in Europe as far as I can tell. Ohm put off producing a whole shipment of bikes so they could keep the parts for Warranty and service work, and my dealer tells me he can still order bikes so BionX parts are coming from somewhere. My concern would be batteries......my dealer doesn't have one in stock. Of course it's a concern but there's a LOT of BionX motors and parts around and they're a proven and reliable product. My nearest dealer has two BionX kits in stock and said he will use those for parts if he has to, probably make more money doing it that way anyway.
