Amp setting on a Fold XS bike

I went to the advanced settings on my display to set the maximum speed to 25MPH. I saw the AMP factory setting was 20 but noticed it could be increased. Does anyone know what affect it has to raise the
amp setting. Does it give more power to the motor, thus raising the max speed. I would think volts would have more of an impact in speed. Any input would be appreciated.

You may risk burning out the controller

Is it the same controller as other sondors bikes? I think the XS is the same as the Fold XS in all equipment except its 25A and the fold is 20A
