hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and looking for any input on a step thru ebike less than $2K and under 55 pounds so I'm able to put it on a bike rack without assistance.
I narrowed my search down to the following 3 but open to suggestions:
EBC Model E, Ride1up 500 or Lmt'd and Blix Aveny Skyline and Aventon Pace Next Gen

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Also consider the new REI Co-Op Generation e. The e1.1 model is available in stores now, the more powerful e1.2 should be coming in the Fall. Both bikes weigh 54lb, and if you join as an REI Co-Op member ($20), get and buy it on the REI credit card, you get a 15% rebate at the beginning of next year.

To lower the eBike weight under 55 pounds before putting on a bike rack, take off the battery(if it's removeable). That could save you 5 to 10 pounds of weight.

As mentioned above, remove battery before lifting onto rack.

I've been very happy with this bike 🙂.
