I have two Fly 6 cameras on my ebike, front and rear, and wanted to combine the two video outputs and add some overlay (from a .gpx file obtained by running Strava on my iphone). This is the result:
To get there was not easy but also not too hard. Several issues came along with the Cycliq editor:
1- It does not allow for mosaic composition (i.e. putting the rear view at the top right)
2- The syncing with Strava data can only be done with the raw Fly 6 files, which mean you can't add the Strava overlay on edited files (which I had done to create the mosaic composition)
3- Video output quality from Cycliq editor was "meh", even at 1080 output.
To create the above video I followed the following steps
1- Combine all Fly 6 files into Openshot. Main (minor) issue was to sync the rear and the front videos.
2- Import the OS video and gpx file into Garmin VIRB edit and play around with different overlay configurations.
Doing this requires a relatively powerful computer and some patience (file processing took 45 min on Openshot and 25 min on GVirb).
