Adding a water bottle to Quick E+

I wanted to attach my Tigr bike lock to the frame and needed another set of bottle cage mounts. I installed 5mm rivnuts to the the underside of the top tube. I could also use this mount for a water bottle. However, I think it would be preferable to mount a water bottle on top of the tube. If you decide to install rivnuts, I would recommend using ones made from aluminum. Installing stainless steel rivnuts would probably require an installation tool.

I have my camelback podium bottle mounted horizontally on the top tube over my battery and it doesn't leak. My Clean Bottle tends to drip a bit.

The redesigned camelback is an improvement over the old design. The spout has been redesigned to make it easier to clean. However, the bottle is not quite as flexible. -- I would buy it again.

Got mine - seems to work pretty well.
I thought it was insulated. Oh well.
It’s an expensive $3 plastic bottle.

They have both insulated and non-insulated -- you have to be careful when you buy.
