Added some orange bling to match the forks. What do you guys think? Sorry about the crappy inside pics, raining here for the next few days.

Added Hope Floating rotors, Race Face Chester pedals, Hope bar ends and Lizard Skins grips.

Sucks big time! I want to get out and ride the bike.
Having removed a stock Ultra motor and installed an Archon, I HIGHLY advise to take any and all precautions regarding wetness. I've ridden through a shallow creek a couple times and gotten away with it but I would not ride my bike in the rain. I've got some ideas about increasing water resistance but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. There is absolutely NO seal between the plastic side covers and the motor housing. And all the wire connections are non water proof.

I’m not riding this bike in wet weather or conditions.

what its like a Walmart bike and will short out???
No reports of such but I'm not taking any chances. Personally I would gladly pay a couple hundred dollars more for waterproof wire connectors and a better housing but .... it ain't like Bafang has to try harder these days to sell motors.

My friend has taken his through several creeks but we didn’t know what the water look like before he did that. Now having removed the motor several times I don’t think he is going to submerge it again.

thats one thing rain is another no motor is meant to be plastered with water.

I don’t think people that own his commuter style bikes avoid rain. I’ve also never heard Pushkar mention any caveats about certain weather.

edit: looked it up, ultra motors are rated ipx5
  • IPX5: Can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray
