A used less than 100 mile 2020 Vado 4.0 step thru for $2650. But I would lose new warranties not electronic related. Opinions

I found a used less than 100 mile Vado 4.0 Step Thru 2020 Vado 4.0 for $2650 from an out of town dealer, but my daughter lives 3 miles from the shop. They are selling it because no one rides demos in the winter. I would lose all warranties that are not battery or electronics related. I was strongly considering a Vado 4.0 but did not want step thru, but that is not a huge deal, I don't think. So my question is, is this a helluva deal if I lose the warranty and do not buy from my local shop, so I would lose one year tune up they give on new bikes? Thank you!
Now I have been told that Specialty does not cover any used bikes with any warranty at all. So any problems I would have to pay for. I cannot believe they void all warranty on a demo bike with less than 100 miles on it. Thoughts. Buy or not buy?

Wow didn't realize you had to be the original owner. That's a tough choice since its normally lifetime warranty.

"If you're the second, or later, owner of a Specialized or Roval product, you are eligible for a two-year warranty from the date of the original retail purchase."

I don’t think so. I called specialized. That was the old rule. They have changed it and no longer do that. No warranties. Dealer told me
That and I called specialized and they told me the same thing. No warranties on used bike sale. I think this was abused somehow.

I haven't read the whole document yet but according to Specialized's own warranty found online for the US and Canada, used bikes ARE covered.

If they have changed their warranty then I'd download a copy of the one online before they change it. And I'd be trying to talk to a few people at Specialized to see why a rep told you it wasn't covered but their legal document(?) online says differently.

As far as that particular bike being a good purchase... I would want to see a little more or a discount. But that's just me.

I did talk to specialize in the phone. Not a dealer. Their customer service. I ended up buying a new bike from a dealer who was local.
