Bosch Kiox BUI330 Not Charging on the R&M E-bike

I have a 2019 R&M Supercharger with a Kiox BUI330 controller. After putting 8600 miles on the bike, I have had no problems but a few weeks ago I was out riding and the bike just completely shut down. It turned out that the Kiox was no longer charging in the cradle on the bike. The contact points on both the Kiox and the bike are clean. I manually recharged the Kiox and it works but I'm concerned that this will happen again. I want to identify the root cause of the Kiox not charging on the bike. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem and/or identify the root cause for not charging? Also, is there a way to tell what the charge level is on the Kiox controller? (Not the charge level of the e-bike batteries.)

I have had that with my nyon too. taking it off and then putting it back on usually fixes it. that's why I had to give up screwing it down. I think you can have it display its battery level like the Nyon. like when I remove the battery it shows the Nyon battery level.

Thanks for the idea John, but I take my Kiox on and off my bike all the time, it's one of my security measures. That doesn't seem to make a difference in charging for me.

Ok, I see what I missed if the bike is shutting down when riding and it is not charging it sounds like a bad connection. or the kiox is the issue. sometimes the mounts get sloppy and I have had to replace them if the kiox wiggles around much that could be it.
