Can't find Battery

I privately purchased a used E-Wind e-bike however awhile back. Now the battery will not hold a charge and requires a replacement. The E-Wind bike manufacturer in China no longer exists and I do not know how or where to find a replacement. It sits vertically under tr seat so it must fit into the slot to slide down and into the 4-prong connection to the controller. This is also a problem as many I have see on-line are to long (back-to-front). I have 85mm and all I see now is 110mm. See pics.
Can anyone help please ... ?!?!?

Here's a slim silverfish battery, but it's 93 mm. Another tradeoff is its a no-name vendor on aliexpress.

You can always scrap the original battery, Get rid of the water bottle cage, and switch to a downtube battery. The left handone is your typical Hailong and the right hand is called the dolphin. They are usually sold with cradles which can be mounted to the downtube.

The dolphin is a better constructed case, but is a old design and many sellers only carry the cheaper Hailong cases. If you add some additional fasteners to augment the water bottle screws for attaching the cradle, they can be secure. They have keys to lock them in the cradle. Just a matter of removing the prongs in the box under the present battery and running wires to the new cradle.

Being 36V you could use 36 or 40v powertool battery. Aliexpress has holders for some batteries so can access power terminals.
Probably only worth considering if have or want a 36v powertool.

Alternatively a couple 18v in series. Put batteries in bag on frame or handle bar.

shoot, go 40 volt going to feel a little better for a bit, however if the ops picture is correct he has plenty of room for a 110 mm battery,I replaced a 10.4 ah silverfish battery with a 20 ah one time not a problem, the only trouble I see is maybe having to remove seat if battery needs to be removed( have used ryobi adapters with 18 volt batteries to power lights and accessories on bikes before, no problem)

Silverfish looks like a perfect fit. You get a free charger as well for $250 . I have had good luck with Ali Express. The only downside is you gotta wait till March to get your battery. The other option is to scrap it and look for a new ebike on Craigslist or from an online dealer. Ebikes are at an all time low as far as pricing goes...

All these battery pics, but no good ones of the dimension that matters. I guess I don't see the room at the bottom of his bike for a regular silverfish.

Hey Harry, thanks for your comments... .others as well !
I guess I should be more detailed regarding the dimension. You can see battery in my pic, so:

Dimensions Batt. my Bike:
Height: 390 mm
Width (side to side): 80mm
Depth (back to front): 85mm

Dimensions I've Seen on-line for these types of batteries:
Height: 390 mm
Width (side to side): 80mm
Depth (back to front): 110mm

It is the depth that is the problem. 110mm won't fit in the opening to slide the battery down into. So I will have to mount it somewhere (likely the diagonal down tube), and somehow extend the 4-prong connection from top of the controller to the new location ... assuming the battery works for this bike.

Easy enough to inquire with the AliEx seller if they could accommodate your sizing specifics.
Batteries & ebike shipments from China has been quicker in my experience.
4-8 weeks tops, even with ebike purchases I made with special request like tires/wheels/hub motor, etc.

Does anyone know what the following terms mean with respect to ordering e-bike batteries:
1. "Pack" - eg. 1-9 Packs, 10-19 Packs, 20 Packs. Prices go down as Packs go up
2. "Pieces" - eg. 1 Piece, 2 Piece ....
Thanks

Are you looking on the Alibaba website, which caters to importers and resellers who want to buy 20+ packs? If you just want one, you're wasting their time, and you'll probably get the service that comes with a seller who thinks he is wasting his time.

I think you are right ... I am going to go with Herbert at dtBatteries as someone suggested above.
Thanks !

The Chinese New Year started today so that will put communication with Herbert at a standstill for a few week. DT is a large supplier of good standing that still will sell an individual battery to anyone.

Having a battery re-celled can be an adventure to get it shipped under hazmat rules, unless the vendor is local. Even them,. you have to find a good shop.

Here's a tragic case from 2022 where rebuilt batteries were involved in a fatal fire in Canada.

I am aware ... but Herbert has managed to still be pretty helpful in the meantime ... great guy !!!!
