The are so many parameters (much more than in a car) which influence the energy consumption that any value is arbitrary.

The TCS, a swiss car assistance service, did a comparison between different 45km/h e-bikes. They changed the rider multiple times, but didn't say word about the settings. The findings are useful and they also unveiled, the Stromeer battery is by far the most expensive.

Very surprising the comparison with electric cars.

186 Wh pro km is roughly only 10 times higher (but the weight of a car is nearby 100 times bigger). I see the reason in the very much more often used "full throttle" mode an a Stromer.
