Replace Handlebars

I want to let my housemate use my Teo Fat Bike because it really doesn't fit me. However, he wants a more vertical seating position, so we are thinking of replacing the handlebars with something more like a cruiser would have. Can the handlebars be replaced - i.e., is the sizing standard? I know this will involve some wire work, but I can do that. I just want to make sure I don't start ordering parts if there is no chance of it working.

I believe mountain bike and fatbike bars are standard. The center of the bar is either 31,8 or 25,4 mm (1 inch) in diameter. Cut a 1" notch in a piece of cardboard and check, if you cannot tell by looking.

Looking at a pic of a Teo, the wires/cables don't look that they have much slack. Good luck.

Sure you can change it, I have done it on my Teo couple of times and now thinking of trying the Jones bar ....
