2018 Trekking Front Fender

I’ve messed around with this front fender in an unsuccessful attempt to get it aligned. Is there some trick to putting the fender on correctly. Is there a replacement fender that is easier to install/align? My ride looks unfinished missing the front fender. John

There are two bolts at the fork end. One bolt secures the fender stay to the fork itself. The second bolt allows the stay to be lengthened or shortened so you can align the fender with the tire/wheel. Just loosen the second bolt (the one further away from the fork) and push or pull on the stay to the length necessary.
