My question, reducing the weight by only 1.3 to 1.4 lbs doesn't justify the price. I know some of the other components are spec's better; however...

I find that weight loss on an e bike is not all the much of an advantage as it is on a purely pedal bike. And even then for most of the cycling community a lighter bike will not be that much of an advantage performance wise over reliable components.

There is an 8lb difference between my two very similarly setup bikes and other than the fact that the lighter one handles marginally better and is easier to lift up, performance wise there is very little difference. They both cost about the same to set up too.
