The 2017 National Electric Bike Owner Survey carried out by the Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) at Portland State University has been published, lots of interesting data!

Great survey. I'm going to pass the link on to my local Bicycling League. One of the numbers that stood out was the percentage of riders that enjoy their e-bike experience: 96.4%!

Very thought provoking, confirms some suspicions. I'll pass it on as well. For some friends that think ebikes are a gimmick or a fad, this survey refutes that with real numbers.

Someone in Seattle should send this to the Seattle Parks Commission. They are now reviewing their e-bike policy.
