2014 Battery Failure?

10000000000% agree :) .if you have a semi lemon you feel like you have no warranty...and then when the shop makes a mistake I still have to pay more. I am more than willing to MSRP if i get he service i expect which is loaner when my bike is down. For those that sell there car to be an ebiker you are just out of luck . Trouble is i paid MRSP and didnt get what I thought I should . The argument that you should buy local is hard to accept/push when stories like this happen.

Semi OT . I ham having the same kind of issue w/getting service parts for my Magura brakes. no front brake because of slow leak. The shop stripped nut /plunger used for bleeding , cant even pump up brakes to test where leak is. it has been down for 3 weeks or more. It suppoosed to be fixed enough to ride over the holiday, still need some part whatever is leaking. need to a rubber band o the brake and look for fluid and then they will send a part....then it must be installed, thx for the rant

Finally got a new battery from them. Seven weeks.

As related by the dealer, Specialized had three people each handling Turbo issues part-time, and with poor communication among them.
As a result of my incident and another of similar ilk, they are now said to have one person working full-time on Turbo issues, so the situation may improve.
I can't excuse them for this as it impacted me directly, but I'm glad the bike is operational again. However, I won't be buying Specialized stuff in the future.

I had a battery failure a couple of weeks ago. I would leave for rides with less than a full charge thinking I'd forgotten to plug it in. Finally on one commute trip I left with a half charge. Thinking I could cover most of the distance without power and charge the battery at work I pressed on. After sitting on the charger all day, I assumed all was good to go for the ride home. The start check did not have any errors but there wasn't enough power to stay on. It was a long 20 miles home without power on an ebike. The dealer sent the battery back to Specialized for warranty. They repaired it and it worked fine on the way in today. It probably would have been quicker if it weren't for Interbike interruption. Overall everyone was responsive.
