20" Fatbike Tires for pavement.

I recall a post last year where someone recommended a smooth fatbike tire in this category, so it was probably in this forum. My search has these two candidates. V-rubber and Origin-8.

We might get a 20" fatbike and my past experience is that I like smoother tread, low rolling resistance tires that are silent. I have Vee Tire Speedsters on my 26" fatbike. Great for pavement.

Thank Cayjak. Should I want them, your link gives me link to 20" Veeco Speedsters. I didn't know they existed in 20".

I got 20" Speedsters here, but I got the last pair in stock. They seem to have full slicks in stock, though.

I preordered a bike from them too which I'm still waiting on, so I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I will probably lurk in the Rad boards a lot as they don't have their own subforum here and the bikes are similar to Rad Minis.

Rad also has those new tires on the step-thru Rad Mini which should be available for purchase separately at some point.

Never seen a Radmin up close. How tall is a 20" fatbike tire (diameter)? Are they about 24" high?

I tried some 20 x2.3" tires, but I used tubes that were too small and couldn't keep the tires on.

Now using Wanda 20 x 3.0" tires with 20x3" tubes. Smooth tread and totally useless on snow.
