10 months and 362 miles later... my XPerience

After 10 months and 350+ 1mile round trips to drop my daughter off at daycare/preschool my XP is in dire need of maintenance...

I will say I'm probably the average user. I plug the bike in when it needs a charge and I unplug it when it's time to take the bike out. I know this is not ideal for the battery but there you have it.

The battery still lasts a good amount of distance but not like it was brand new. Both sets of brake pads F/R are 100% shot. The rear brake line snapped as I pulled in the driveway on Friday and I have yet to pull it all apart to get a replacement cable or source brake pads. (hopefully, I can find them for less than lectric charges).

Overall I'm still very happy with the bike, just thought the brake pads would last longer than 360 miles and I think Lectric needs a better BMS.

Lots of YouTube videos on changing the Brake pads I ordered these for my Lectric XP 1.0. on Amazon: Tektro Shimano Deore Br-M575 M525 M515 T615 T675 M505 M495 M486 M485 M475 M465 M447 M446 M445 M416 M415 M395 M375 M315 M355 C601 C501s (Resin Brake Pads) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855N33H...abc_X4HR2WXMFRBJMG7SJBND?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.
The originals lasted me to 475 miles, these are still going at 1320 miles (845miles since changed) and I still have the extra pair yet to be installed.
I purchased a Kasa Smart Plug HS103 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079B7SHD8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It let me program charging to start 5hrs prior to just the days that I typically ride and shut off just prior to the start of my ride. Easy to use app programming.
After a year, I purchased a new battery for swapping to extend range and there is only a 3 mile difference between the old and new battery. I charge/ride 6 days a week so the smart plug has been a great tool to extend battery life
