Use and enjoy it with good health. Don't worry about a bad purchase. It's better than stock, and you already have it 👍

Think he got it with the x1, so locked in now.

Just ordered a Hydra power questions

If you have the X-1 controller, then learn to love it :) If not, then check your plugs to the display (round is UART, House Shaped is CANBUS, you have to unplug it to see the shape), If you have the UART, then buy a bafang programming cable and get to work. Leave it alone if you have the X-1...

Just ordered a Hydra power questions

you will get a little more juice off of the X1 along with a better tune over stock, but worth the extra cost I am not so sure. IMO unless you have a UART motor it is all splitting hairs. Get what makes you happy and learn to live with it :) Many of us who got the CANBUS M620 have invested in...

Just ordered a Hydra power questions

750w Bafang motors should be capable of at least 120nm, so I suspect they are limiting amperage for a smoother ramp up rate on the button up to 90nm max. 90nm is also what the stock Bafang m620 controller on button is set for, but the ramp up rate is much more abrupt. The M620 will also give...

Just ordered a Hydra power questions

Shift Sensors are hit and miss, but the brake sensors are key to keep control of the bike since it is very jerky on power delivery. It is still best to stop pedaling and wait for the power from the motor to cut out before you shift. Most Bafang m620 based motors have over-run issues with the...

Throttle is set to 90nm according to their specs. Not sure if that translates to your 750w comments since I am pretty sure a 750w tune can output more than 90nm, but it is probably there so you don't rip the cassette teeth on launch since the throttle button or twist style is essentially an...

    Question on 'dropped chain'?

Wow, I must be very lucky with my m620 and bbs02 motors. Currently over 2k miles on both, and my chains and cassettes still measures almost new (not stretched). I am very diligent on keeping things clean and lubed, and easy on my shifts (wait until the motor is disengaged). Either way, I hope a...

    Question on 'dropped chain'?

Not sure if this helps, but I put this on my wife's ebike to stop the chain from jumping off every once in a while or when she was powering over bumps on the trails (or bike lanes). Seems to have taken care of the problem for her. CYSKY Chain Guide Mountain Bike, MTB Chain Guide Direct Mount...

Wanted volunteers: Tributes for Custom Quiet Gears for Ultra

Sorry I moved my post to to the news/hot topics board. I was doing searches with keywords and landed on this thread, and then noticed it was vendor specific. PEEK is a high strength polymer used in place of traditional steel/metal gears. In this case, it quiets down the noise that announces...

    Any Progress/News for M620 PEEK/Quiet Gear?

Bumping this topic to see if anyone knows if a PEEK or alternate quiet gear is anywhere on anyone's project list I could join in on. I hate the noise of the m620, have no plans to modify past stock power, and I bet there are others out there like me that would love the chance to simply get rid...

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

Stop feeding the extreme ebike user trolls on this thread. They are high mileage users with a lack of understanding about how things work.

Are mid drives just naturally less zippy than hub motors?

Call me old fashioned, but I think middrives are the best between the two worlds of hubs and gears. Those hubs with internal gearing is a good improvement, but at the end of the day they are much harder to rebuild if you do your own work, and lack the range of gearing if you like to dial things...

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

Here are some articles with some reliability info for ebikes. I think you need a different form of transportation instead of hanging around ebike forums making it seem your issues are in anyway normal or expected under normal use. Again, if your mileage claims are even remotely true, I think...

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

With that mileage, I personally would expect issues with any ebike, as well as the batteries and possibly controller and motor. Maybe a gasoline powered mode of transportation would be a better option for your use case, or just plan on new batteries, and motor every so often. Thanks for...

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

I think 2k+ in less than a year is pretty good. Both of my bikes have had the 2nd battery installed since the day I put them together. How many miles do you have on yours? Maybe battery cycle age has an impact.

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

Mine are also 2022 to include the RX Pro, both with extra batteries. No issues with any of them. I am not sure if there is a balancer tucked away inside somewhere, but I have had 0 issues using them plugged into the bike as designed. You might have a lemon, or two, or maybe something else is...

Warning about Rize Bikes they have a serious battery issue!

I own two Rize bikes, purchased this past year. Both with now over 2k on them and still feel and look like new. Only one had some issues with a few minor broken parts out of the box from shipping. Both bikes have secondary batteries as well. No issues with any of them. Besides a little slower...
