Properly tensioning the cable for the rear shimano shifter

I had to remove the rear cable, but when I fit it back, it was quite difficult, and in 5th gear I can hear that typical sound when it appears that the shifter needs more slack on the cable. I find attaching the cable extremely tedious and fiddly. Any tips on getting it right the first time? Some...

Using third party 52V battery as extender?

Thanks, a 48V 10ah battery costs quite a bit less than what priority sells it for. I am wondering is it possible to buy the controller separately. Dual battery controller systems do exist for other bikes with barrel plugs, but the wiring connectors inside the motor housing do seem non standard.

Using third party 52V battery as extender?

I was looking at 52V Ebike batteries on amazon and 500wh cost ~200$ and can be mounted to draw tube. I was thinking of attaching it to the barrel plug i.e charging while running. This is like riding the bike with a charger running continuously. Stock charger is 54V, so its going to charge...

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

The rear brakes work now. I am just wondering what part should I swap so i can keep using the 180mm rotor? Or should I switch to 160mm rotor?

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Okay, so I should definitely avoid hard braking on the rear wheel. The bike runs nice though, and hopefully it will last beyond warranty period. Looks like some parts are not carefully thought out?

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Its been a couple of months since I got the new wheel. Works good now. Same design though. I am using my rear brake less and less though. Decided to get it fixed at the bike shop,. but did the final mounting on the bike myself. Getting the dots to line up at 3 was a bit tricky, but it worked out...

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Yes, they are sending a wheel. I asked for an assembled wheel with ROTOR so I can fix it myself, but they are sending just the bare wheel and I will use my old rotor. So I have to go to the bike shop.

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

I have asked them about new wheel. They do seem bummed that the bike shop charged me 40$ to remove wheel inspect and then say its cannot be fixed without a new rear wheel. I guess bike shops do charge labor even if something is unfixable due to no fault of theirs. Went to Off Ramp in Santa Clara.

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Priority sent me the parts and asked me to go to local bike shop. However when we opened up the wheel they said it cannot be installed as the hub threads are damaged. The bike shop also said that the part used is very poor quality and showed me Shimano OEM part which is supposed to be used with...

Priority wants me to go to a bike shop once I get the parts and then send them the bill and they will refund!

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

This is what Priority says THe Adapter fits the 6 bols to center lock then the locking holds everything together. I'm replacing those two parts. I have it packed 2 day air waiting for pick up. They are sending me both the adapter and the center lock ring

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Hmmm, they are sending me lockring and "another part". I am guessing they are probably sending me the "adapter". From their website they have two types E-bike specific Shimano Inter-5 internal hub -> Centerlock enviolo Sportive -> 6-bolt So I have the Shimano. Its possible they use 6 bolt...

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

I have asked priority this exact question. They are going to send me a lock ring, but if its a wrong rotor they installed, then its a problem. I was lucky this failed at slow speeds.

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

I see screw holes on the disk rotor. But the ring says "Lock". I have zero braking action as the rotor rotates free w.r.t the wheel. If its screw holes then all screws fell off? Or were they never there and it was friction holding all the time. If its a lockring, even when not fully tight...

Range and mathematics, something does not add up

So if a motor is rated 250W, its actually putting out more than 250W? Its a pedal assist, I assuming I pedal hard and put in 100W or so, then motor is doing 250W only.

Range and mathematics, something does not add up

The Priority current has a 250W motor and a 500Wh battery. The motor can do 500W peak I guess, but not sustained. I am assuming at pedal assist 4, if I pedal with minimal wind at around 21-22mph we are talking 250W So I should be getting 40 miles + range. Reduce 20% for efficiency and 30...
