Would still be cool to get a e-bike meetup of some sort! I forgot that I almost always have my dog with me. She probably saves me from the snide or idiot comments.

I ride mainly on 4 mile run and Mt Vernon, nothing but cool comments and things like that. Have not had a negative response from a stranger or fellow rider. Sounds like a lot more idiots on the W & OD. I have only gotten a tiny bit of crap from my friends. Once they ride the bike, they instantly...

I have 2 more bikes coming in. A Volt bike folding clone and a Sondors Fat bike. Since the RAD Mini is my designated dog carrier, I was thinking of putting the tires on my new folding bike. This clone comes with a front suspension and a 20 AH 48v battery! I wanted to sell that RAD Mini, but...

Marcus I set my wheels to 26 and top speed to 40km and it felt strange and not as smooth. I think I will try 22 inches like you did and see how that helps. I did notice when I set the top speed to 40KM that means you can throttle to about 24 MPH.

I think you would be at the upper limit of this bike. My guess would be on a steep hill you can expect 8 miles an hour which would still be way faster then you pedaling a normal fat bike up that incline. This is the first hub powered bike that has brought me this much comfort on climbs. Also as...

I use these hose clamps...

The reviews for the tires state that 20x4 should work fine with extra inflation and planning for the rim strips. Those specialized tires, look really high quality and nice. Would love an update on that when you can! Also found this crazy rear tire, was thinking about trying it...

    My Next Build

I was looking at Motobecane fatbikes and frames for a build. It got overwhelming pretty quickly. I think bikes direct offers tremendous value for awesome gear sets.

So I have gotten to put 2 long rides on the mini now. First ride was 20 miles and the mini handled it very nicely no issues. The second ride had more up hills and bumps was a bit longer and more taxing on the battery. That ride went awesome as well. I am confident that it was a faulty...
