    Changes to my RadRover

If you can get the decal off despite the clear coat it would be much easier to match the gloss clearcoat (the white is gloss, right?) with a rattle can than the satin/matte of the black model, I think.

    Changes to my RadRover

Just wondering if there was a clearcoat over the downtube decal, and if pulling off the decal affected the look of the downtube?

    Rear Rack installation for RadRover

I have this same rack and ended up using the threaded holes on the rear dropout to mount the rack. This allows for the rack to mounted as low as possible to keep the center of gravity down. I took out the top screw holding the derailleur guard and used that hole on the right and used an existing...

    "Early June" Radrover shipments

I took my bike to the N.GA mountains this weekend and got in some time on mainly gravel roads. Very nice and smooth over uneven terrain. I, too, had an issue with the shifter/derailleur combo. My shifter works but some gears (3/4 mainly) won't catch right away. I'll shift and then a few seconds...

Did you tighten the top ones all the way down before starting the bottom screws? Undo the top screws some and then tighten down the bottom ones. The idea is to go from top to bottom and back to make sure the plate in front stays even. You'll end up with a gap between the plate and the stem-it...

    "Early June" Radrover shipments

Just did my first ride around the neighborhood. Everything seems to work as advertised, lots of fun. I can see I'll have to change the grips. They're nice, but won't cut it for a sweaty Southeast summer. All in all, I'm pretty thrilled!

Yea, the loose bolt isn't from the quick release. It's a 45mm M4 hex bolt. I don't have any mounting hardware for the light, but that bolt is overkill for the light. I'm using another light so I wasn't planning on using the stock light anyway, so no big deal. I do have an email in to Radrover...

    "Early June" Radrover shipments

Mine just arrived here in ATL. It looks good from just opening the box and having a quick look-see. There was a loose bolt on the ground outside where the box had been sitting, so hopefully that's the only one and I'm not missing hardware.

    Changes to my RadRover

Looks good. I'm planning on debadging my downtube like you did. What size is the triangle bag? That's a good idea. Also, which handlebar stem is that?

Yea, I'm pretty apprehensive, but if it's just cosmetic damage I won't be too bummed. I'd like to hear how JJ's bike turned out.

Motorcycle Carrier instead of Bike Rack?

Yea, I ended up biting the bullet for the 1UPUSA super duty with fat tire conversion. Very nice, solid unit! Thanks for the replies!

Mine shipped today, too. It's coming across the country to GA so I hope UPS isn't too cruel.

Motorcycle Carrier instead of Bike Rack?

I have a RadRover on order and have zeroed in on the 1UPUSA Super duty rack with the fat tire conversion parts-over $400 but it looks like a quality unit. Just perusing Amazon and came across a couple of hitch mounted motorcycle carriers with ramps for under $200. Here's the links...
