At times I feel like I am cheating I have added 1000 miles this summer on an Orbea e-bike, Previous year was only around 600 miles during the summer on a Raleigh Road bike.

I have now ridden 800 Miles in the past 3 months on the Orbea Gain M20 all I can say is this is a fun bike. Handles very well. Brakes are top of the line.

Maybe a million $$$ idea could we install a KEY on an electric bike to basically lock the drivetrain and disable the battery linkage. If the person takes it they can't turn the rear wheel and if they try and ride/pedal the rear wheel doesn't turn.

Just did a long ride and tried back pedaling with the motor engaged, off and level 1,2,3. Smooth as silk.

That is why I don't ride the bus or any other mass transportation the Commuter bike is perfect for getting to and from different destinations

I ride without a mask because it's really weird. I am not going to be closer than 10' I guess I could be infectious to a car when stopped at a stop light but most times I roll into the slot on the back bumper and leave space. I also don't wear a mask walking the dog.

It's very frustrating that my shop only has the ability to update firmware. If I could do it on a network switch running internet traffic I can do it on an electric bike.
