Love my new Turbo Vado SL 4.0

You can ride with the power on and still not use the assist. Then your computer and your lights would be powered.

Love my new Turbo Vado SL 4.0

I just bought the Vado 4.0 SL and installed the Redshift suspension stem ($150). I really like the stem and my shoulders and wrists are thanking me . There is a comparison video here: . I also got the Redshift seatpost which is amazing (my prostrate is thanking me). So for me, it would be $850...

Light Mount for new Redshift Suspension Stem

I installed the stem last night. It took me a while to figure out where to mount the light. It was a lot of trial and error. I ended up using a zip tie around the exiting mount. When you turn the handle bars, the light moves with the steering column (headset) which is a good thing since it...

Light Mount for new Redshift Suspension Stem

I just got my tracking code for USPS. Judging by previous shipping experiences from USPS, that means it will get here between 2 days and 2 weeks.

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

I've had my Vado SL 4.0 EQ for about a week now. I'm really having fun with it. I can do my 18 mile lake trail loop in 55 minutes, get home and take a shower, and be ready for work at 8:30. It's a good workout. I'm 50 and in decent analog biking shape. But with this bike, I can go 5-6 mph faster...

Light Mount for new Redshift Suspension Stem

I bought the Turbo Vado 4.0 SL EQ and I want to replace the stem with a Redshift Suspension Stem. The problem is that the light mounts by sliding into the Specialized stem. I was wondering if any of you know how to deal with the light when the stem is replaced.

Adding a suspension post and stem to Turbo Vado SL 4.0

My bike is XL and I just got a reply from Redshift... Thanks for reaching out. The Vado seatpost diameter is the same as our ShockStop seatpost, so thats an easy switch. Per Specialized website, the Vado uses different length stems for the different size bike you purchased. Below is a...

Adding a suspension post and stem to Turbo Vado SL 4.0

I’m already about $3500 over budget, lol. So I can’t get the 5.0. Also, I already ordered the 4.0. Thanks for the advice on the shockstop.

Adding a suspension post and stem to Turbo Vado SL 4.0

Thanks! I sent them an email asking them for recommendations on the sizes I would need (I don't know enough about bikes to make the correct guess).

Adding a suspension post and stem to Turbo Vado SL 4.0

The Turbo Vado SL 4.0 does not have a suspension post or stem. I'm looking at the Redshift bundle at https://redshiftsports.com/shockstop-system. I could probably add a suspension post pretty easily. But can I also add suspension stem? Anything I need to be aware of? Or does Specialized sell the...

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Just ordered the Vado SL 4.0 EQ. Selling point for me is the weight. I bought a hitch bike rack 2 years ago that has a 40 pound limit per bike. So I didn’t want to shell out another $600 for a family bike rack. Also, I like my road bike and I’m in decent shape. I just want to go further. Once in...
