Ok, that one that raises and lowers with a hand drill is way cool. Can even motorize it. I want one.

    E-Bike Student Survey

Done. Odd that you asked if I wanted to be a beta tester for your next ebike. Does SDSU manufacture ebikes now? If you are partnered with a manufacturer, I would have preferred that be disclosed up front.

Rider made a comment yesterday on the trail

The ebike has allowed us to ride together. She needs one because of knee and hip issues. She could not ride at all without an ebike. I could ride my road bike with her, but she putts along @ 12 mph in PAS 1 or 2. I'm not sure I could ride that slow on my road bike. And the riding position...

Rider made a comment yesterday on the trail

That’s exactly what my wife said. I am a type A fighter pilot, so I have a really hard time letting that sort of behavior pass without retaliation. I would have been a lot better off, though, had I just let it slide. I forgot my "yes dear" training.

Rider made a comment yesterday on the trail

50 nm mid drive vs 50 nm rear hub drive

It doesn't look like either of those bikes have a throttle. Not sure a torque sensing system will solve your "I also dislike that the assist doesn't start helping from a stop until a pedal revolution or so." problem.

Tire size setting and speed limiter

I just got a new 29" Pedego Platinum step thru. Had a great ride today with my wife. I was playing around with the settings and set the tire size to 16". The speedo was not accurate now, but I had my phone up with Waze. 32 mph on the throttle. Just thought I would share some data.

    Hello from SW Ohio

Hello everyone! Glad to be on board. Wife and I are empty nesters and wanted to ride together, but she has a bum knee and hip, and I have a road bike, so that wasn't working out. So we looked at an ebike for her and I would ride with her. I found a used Pedego Interceptor step thru for her...
