Hi, Jenny. I was directed to you in search of a battery for an Eshylala S9. This is a fat-tire folding bike with an in-frame battery. Would you have any leads on this? My thread is here: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/eshylala-cliensy-s9-battery.47501/ Thank you.

    Eshylala (cliensy) S9 Battery?

A customer brought in an Eshylala S9 fat tire folding bike. I can't seem to find any info on this brand let alone parts. The customer needs a battery and replacement key, but I think he might be out of luck. Anyone here have any ideas or leads?

looking for 2013 eflow nitro parts or ideas to fix

What I want to see with this test, is the BMS board actually defective, or is the pack out of balance and therefore won’t allow the bike to turn on. Both are good possibilities.

looking for 2013 eflow nitro parts or ideas to fix

You can, though I’d advise only temporarily just to test the rest of the Bikes’s functions since the cells would be unprotected. One last thing. There should be a connector with ~11 wires at the BMS. Can you (very carefully) check the voltage between each adjacent pin? What I mean is pin 1 to...

looking for 2013 eflow nitro parts or ideas to fix

What are the symptoms? Voltage at the battery terminals (both where the cells connect to the BMS and on the pack connector)? When re-building mine, the bike would turn on and run with just straight voltage (no BMS attached), but the charge gauge showed empty.

    Haibike Urban Plus Software code

No. Alta ended up replacing the bike. We put an entirely new drive system on and the bike still wouldn’t run. I’m glad we only sold one of these bikes.

anyone get that grinding feel when you put a new chain on?

I think it has to do with Bosch using the small chainring. Gen 4 motors don’t seem to do this.

anyone get that grinding feel when you put a new chain on?

Gen 2 motor? I’ve noticed at certain cadences and effort levels that I’ll get vibration in the chain on just about every Gen 2 Cx or Speed motor I’ve ridden. It’s to the point where I consider it normal behavior.

Known Issues & Problems with Bosch Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

@Haibike Rider, thanks for the info. That was my initial thought, as well. I'll try to put some more miles on their bike and see if it loosens up. @webcurl, not directly, but I have used a GoalZero Sherpa 100AC power bank with the Compact charger to make the last 15 miles of a 150 mile ride...

Known Issues & Problems with Bosch Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Anyone ever have a replacement motor come in with stiff pedaling? Sent the bike out with the customer thinking it would loosen up, but the bike came back. Not only is pedaling stiff (chain disconnected, the pedals stop almost immediately), but the bike is only getting about half the range...

    Purion display mount

The Purion mount should open. Take the screw all the way out, and you might still have to pry it open (sometimes the rubber gasket holds everything in place too well).

    Product Improvement:- Feedback to Bosch.

Having done some long haul rides, it would be great to have a "break" button that would allow the rider to rest their legs without having to stop (note "Break", not "Brake"). Perhaps the Walk mode button could be programmed so that if held down while above 5 MPH, the bike will maintain the...

    Motor differences, physical or software.

I haven't seen anything that suggests a hardware difference between the Gen 2 Cx and Speed motors. I have two bikes, one Cx and one Speed, and both motors weigh the same, sound the same, and pedal the same. Only difference is at what speed they cut out. Gen 3 Active Line and Active Line Plus...

    Motor upgrade

As for physical fit, any motor within the same generation will bolt on. You physically could mount the new Performance Line Sport motor in the place of an Active Line or Active Line Plus motor, just as Gen 2 Cx and Gen 2 Speed motors use the same housing and bolt pattern. Displays, batteries...

    Bosch Smartphone Hub vs. Kiox

The app leaves a lot to be desired (though the totally offline navigation and re-route is a fantastic feature that is sorely missed on smartphones). I mainly use the app so that I can check the phone battery on the Kiox as my phone holder covers the top of my phone screen. It would be nice if...

Suntour battery not charging - iZip Simi

That sounds like the exact problem I was having. Suntour sent a new pack under warranty, and that pack worked fine with everything. That bike has since been sold, and the customer hasn't reported any issues.

Suntour battery not charging - iZip Simi

Got a new Simi in the shop, ran the battery flat on a test ride, but am unable to charge it. The battery has 3 lights with the 4th/top light flashing when I press the button on the pack. Plugging into the charger, I can hear a relay in the charger cycling about every second, but the light stays...

Sweet! And not a bad price, either.

    Code 03

We’ve now had almost 10 bikes come in with the same issue. take the sensor off, loosen the two bolts, snug them back up, reinstall. The one bike I torqued to spec came back, the rest I’ve done just by feel (basically a light turn until it stops) have all been good.

    Bosch Smartphone Hub vs. Kiox

My Kiox is bolted on. No need to remove it for me, and also guarantees it won't fly off when hitting a drop in the pavement.
