Texas to Florida -- With the bike -- In a Prius

Yeah, it looks like you have me beat by headroom in the cargo area. Tried the tote box last nite and it is a no go for my Prius. Will use it in the Suburban when pulling the travel trailer though. I did remeasure and it is within 1 inch of the lowest spot in the roof of the car so should fit...

Texas to Florida -- With the bike -- In a Prius

Going to head to Florida with the wife in a few days for a few weeks with the in-laws. Trying to determine the best way to store the bike in the car. I saw the post on here where someone used a tote box from Lowes to keep the XP stored maginably and that would be my preferred method if it will...

    Lectric XP

I have some acreage in the country with some Mesquite trees. I use slime in lots tires around the place. I do not use it in the cars or trucks. For one thing, it has been my experience that it only stays useful for a year or two at most. I add more when I get a leak. I dont think it is designed...

I think it's because it has been trouble for them in the past. You are looking for value. That's why you bought the XP in the first place. Then you take a 900.00 bike that works fine in for a " simple " adjustment or tune up and they are going to charge you a big chunk of money that is...

    Lectric XP

Those of us with the "Locked " bikes are still able to increase the top speed, and a couple of other settings. We are unable to correct the horribly inaccurate odometer by correcting the circumference of the tire and some on here have posted the desire to increase the the minimum operating...

    Lectric XP

I was out and about at a local campground yesterday and was approached by someone that owned a Rad Mini. One tip he passed on to me was to carry a few zip lock bags and some rubber bands with me so i could protect the display if I got caught in the rain. Sounded to me like a good tip so thought...

    Accessories for your XP

The Satori looks good and comes in at a good price. However, me being tall, I feel I would need longer than the 350mm length the Satori comes in.

On the Fence? Thinking of buying but have not decided?

I have had mine a little over a week now. Been on this forum while waiting the several weeks for the bike to get here before that. Most if not all of the posts have been from people that have bought the bikes already. I would be interested in hearing peoples thoughts on the bike and maybe we can...

My test using the 1/4 mile markings on a paved bike path showed the odometer was under reporting by 25%. I watched a video of a review of a white bike and he had a gps program that reported 23.8 miles while the bike's odometer reported only 18.9 miles. A difference of 26%.

Lectric XP Ride and Range Reports

Yes, tried it yesterday and no throttle on PAS 0. It was a hypothesis that needed testing by me. Also tried another section of off road trail and it was not fun at all. The hard pack dirt was fine but deep sand, rock ledges, and tree roots were pretty tough. I will try and keep it on smoother...

    Accessories for your XP

Logo cover up. Wanted yellow reflective tape but did not find anything suitable locally. The white reflective tape I found at Walmart for less than 4 bucks. 2"x 30" Duck Brand in the Auto Section. Cut in half and trimmed to a point to match the existing stripes.

Lectric XP Ride and Range Reports

I forgot to mention tapping the brakes to cancel out PAS. I do try to remember to pinch a lever when I dont want the extra push to kick in but sometimes I do forget. I'm sure it gets more automatic with time. I'm guessing that P11 is locked out on mine. I know for sure my wheel size is locked at...

Lectric XP Ride and Range Reports

I have had my bike for a week and a couple of days. I had my eyes on several accessories but decided to wait till after I got the bike to see if i really needed them. I borrowed a bigger seat of my old bike and while initially it was still uncomfortable, it has got much more comfortable as I...

    Lectric XP

Just in from comparing the speedo with my GPS. It stayed within a decimal point at around 20 mph. I was kinda expecting it to be off an amount similar to the odometer but it was not. If I were to change tire size setting the speedo reading would change. I cant see being able to alter one without...

    Lectric XP

being new to electric bikes, I dont know anything about controllers or displays. After owning a Chinese motorcycle i learned that many of the parts were exactly the same as on other bikes despite the manufacturer. I would be willing to bet the controller and screen are used on other bikes as...

    Lectric XP

Well if getting calls about the settings is what prompted them to lock all the settings, would even more calls change their minds? One of the reasons i liked the idea of the Lectric was the display with all the info. Problem is some of the info is not correct from the factory. I am very...

    Lectric XP

Went for a short ride this afternoon and the the power is applied in steps over a period of time. What annoys me is the PAS delay both after starting to pedal and again after you stop pedaling. I think I would prefer the PAS to stop as soon as the pedaling stops. It seems like it can keep...
