    Online E-Bikes - is it a scam?

I have an external mid motor which replaces the bottom bracket, a 15ah battery bolted onto the bottle bolts. These were put on a bike I already had, a Claude Butler hybrid. And it is brilliant! Have had it 3 years and about 7000 miles!

    Replacing CR2032 in C961

I think I may have sussed the wrong clock time issue with the Bafang BBS01. I keep my cycle in the garage, and winter wise it can get quite cold in there. I made a BOXED/JACKET from 1" polysterene foam. And after riding I put the battery in it. It appears that the padding so far has kept the...

Thanks for the interest A Hicks, I know mobile phones if you have to take the battery out they have to be heated up with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive sealant. With the C961 I just do not think it is worth the risk incase of damage....hey I have a watch!!!

    Replacing CR2032 in C961

In order for the clock function to stay correct the display internal battery has to be replaced. I have removed the 4 back plate screws but the 2 halves do not wish to separate. They appear stuck or glued in addition. I am reluctant to force them incase of damage. Does anyone know how to...

    Not To Service?

Hi Stefan Thank you for your reply! Do you mean the complete motor should be replaced? Only on T-Tube they show how to regrease and replace bearings etc. If paying £350 for a motor it seems a little extravagant to just ditch it after 2K miles. Regards JB

    Not To Service?

Following the old adage " if it ain't bust don't fix it". How long could a mid drive motor be left without any service of any type? 36V 15ah battery, with no problems so far after 2,500 miles. Thanks for any info

    Chain lube?

I know any oil/grease will work. But what I have found lately on the Cycle OZ site is to use candle wax! The recipe and know how is on the U-Tube site. I have found it to be superior to anything I have used previously.
