Is 2020 Vado 5 considered Gen 2??

My Vado 5 has been without error for over a year now. As @Stefan Mikes always told me some of the errors are due to bike being new and they go away after a while. Just enjoy the rides. 😃

I have been riding on Schwalbe Marathin E+ for a while now. Changed the original tires of my Vado (Trigger) for the puncture resistance purpose. It took a bit getting used to as it is a harder tire, less air, narrower. I do have the Kinekt suspension seat post, and Ergon ST Core Prime saddle...

I am doing much better after the bionic knee. The bag is not much higher than the other one (Talis). But the top is kind of bunching up. I am experimenting with various kinds of dismount anyway.

An option so far. Realizing none of these measures are fool proof. Just a deterrent.

Just replaced my Racktime Talis to Yves. This was just to try something new. I have a lock that secures the bag to the bike. On occasions I locked the zipper also with a small lock to deter someone opening the bag for the content. Yves does not have a zipper so I have lost this capability...

Just purchased the Yves to replace my Talis. I liked Talis but would like to try a new bag. Will update when I get it. Looks good on the picture.

fully agree with @Stefan Mikes I have US Vado 5 with 28m/h speed limit. I rarely go over 20m/h. The occasional time when I ride with my biker son I exceed the 20m/h and it is not comfortable.

300 or 500 max??

Is the charge cycle ceiling after which the health of battery reduces 300 or 500 for turbo Vado 5? (possible replacement indicator). I think you are correct @Stefan Mikes as I remember reading that the counter is equivalent of a full charge so fraction of a charge dos not count toward it but...

How do you see charge cycle? Mission Control?

TCD battery is to keep the info inside the control unit up and running as it does not get power from the main battery. the main battery turns the bike on and off. hope I understand your question and answering it correctly.

Tero being a class 1 might be a deal breaker for many. Specially commuters. realize it has its benefits of being legal in more trails.

Not sure if mentioned above that Tero is class 1 (20 miles per hour) vs Vado class 3 (28 miles per hour). please confirm this.

@Marcela the one I tested was non EQ no fender, rack, nor kick stand. Looked much more like MTB than road. I loved the look. We don’t get much rain in CA so fender is no issues. I will miss the rack and kick stand. have to carry a backpack for emergency stuff.
