The rack has a little ramp to help with loading, but I find it easier to just lift it onto the rack. It took a little trial and error to figure out the right positioning of the bikes and arms. I haven’t tried putting the bikes on other racks, so don’t know how it compares.

I carry 2 Vado 4.0s on a Thule EasyFold XT 2. It’s designed for ebikes with fenders as it attaches to the frame. Good luck.

It obviously depends on terrain. I don’t use any assist on flat/down. On a recent 20 mile ride that was half climb and half downhill I used 24% of the battery. Have you tried the Specialized calculator...

I recently bought a 2020 Vado 4.0 and test rode both the 4.0 and the 2020 3.0 before buying. The 4.0 had significantly more umph going up hills. I’m a big guy and It definitely made a difference. I live in the very hilly San Francisco area, which is why I went with the 4.0.

My wife and I recently each bought a Vado 4.0, which has same drive/battery as the Como. We love them. I’m a big guy and have been able to take the SF, Marin and East Bay hills. The class 1 specialized didn’t cut it on the hills for me. Don’t know anything about the Cube.

The Verve just didn’t have enough power for the hills. The Super Commuter had enough power, but felt like it was dragging when riding without assistance. New Super Commuter was also an extra $1500.
