Known Issues & Problems with Voltbike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

yeah that's what i figure as well. there's really nothing in that motor that would skip other then teeth missing off those plastic gears. Only other possibility could be power cutting in and out, but it really knocks when it happens so i doubt it.

Known Issues & Problems with Voltbike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Sorry to interrupt again. i heard back from voltbike and they say the motor skipping from start is common among there line of bikes because you can start with throttle only, where as there competition makes you peddle first. Which is what they recommend I do from now on. Can anyone else confirm...

Known Issues & Problems with Voltbike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

No, this would just be with the throttle only. although I do peddle to get some momentum going. but Ive never had it happen while just peddling. I wont bother doing anything though until I hear from Voltbike. I shall send them another email.

Has anyone ever had a problem with the hub motor skipping? I've recently noticed this the last few times i've been out. every once in a while when i start off from a complete stop there's a quick knocking sound and the bikes hesitates with each knock. I was going to make a short video, but I...

we have high theft rates of bikes where I am as well. As a matter of fact I saw 1 bike (not electric) still locked up, but all that was left was the frame. everything else was stripped. I also read on here the person who had their ebike stolen right out of there garage. I took the plunge and...

Batteries: Less charging cycles or using less battery capacity?

So why cant they make the BMS so it tells the charger to shut down at 80 90 or even 95 percent, similar to when it gets too low, and it shuts down power to the motor?

    Would like to go faster!

Im running the voltbike with the same bafang motor. In my research on Electricbikereview.com I came across a write up on the m2s allterrain 750. This bike is essentially identical to the voltbike with the same display controller and a bafang 750 motor. They are claiming speeds upto 28 miles per...

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

No, I have never spoken with them about it. this is from there website though VoltBike Yukon 750 is using Bafang G06 series geared motor which provides 80 N.m. max torque and 750w pure power. For Canadian consumers the motor power is limited to 500w so it comply with Canada regulations...

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

yes I do. And Voltbike claims to put limits on the wattage for canadian customers, so south of the border your results may differ. and just to be clear, that's not the speed I was talking about though, but the mileage before needing a new charge on the battery. In saying that though, on a full...

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

I just recently tested the mileage on my battery. Over the course of a few days I logged 53 KM, or 33 miles, on a full charge. Im of similar weight as well. This is using throttle only, with the occasion pedaling just to get up to speed. And I mostly go max the maximum speed the bike will go...

How Do I Make The Yukon 2018 Voltbike faster?

I'm still new here but Id like to chime in. As an owner of a yukon 750 I've searched up and down on how to increase the speed a bit. Ive come to the conclusion that the hub motor is only going to spin so fast. One option I think that would work though is to go to a larger diameter tire. (if...
