    UNPIN the known problems post

And that's exactly the point, current admin's laziness forces all users of this forum to view a stupid topic at the top EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've run several forums, I would never do something so stupid.

    UNPIN the known problems post

I understand. I happen to think that it is just laziness that makes you want the post pinned. just too lazy to search for issues. do what you want, I don't visit the site anymore.

    UNPIN the known problems post

Once again. EBR administrators are non responsive. Might just have to set up a competing forum.

    UNPIN the known problems post

I'm writing this only so the thread rises to the top.

    UNPIN the known problems post

Don't have an issue with having such a post, I have an issue with it PINNED to the top.

    UNPIN the known problems post

Mostly I hate it because I only browse this category and look at the first post--or used to anyway since now the first post is the same expletive thing. ANN get rid of that post. PLEASE. Suggest all who find the post annoying, "Report" the post daily until it is unpinned. I started today.

    UNPIN the known problems post

How do you get that first post unpinned? It is annoying and inappropriate since it IMPLIES that there are numerous known problems, yadda yadda.

    Mini Deraileur

Doncha miss the old deraileurs that had no numbers and you had to feel each gear as you tried to shift into or out of them (yah, I"m old)? Sure, when the push button shifters came out I thought it was great, for a little while anyway.

    Mini Deraileur

My deraileur misses gears going down from 7 to 1. Granted, I've had this same thing happen on other bikes and adjustment is usually finicky but do'able. It doesn't bother me a lot since I'm usually in 7 and downshift a bunch of gears at once when I hit a hill. But thought I would mention to...

Anyone ever get the leather grips off?

I took off one to install the thumb throttle (turns out I didn't need to). It can be done with brute force with a little help from pliers to help twist at first. Goes right back on with a rubber mallet.

    Mini Confusion

In any small manufacturing organization (less than 10 people), documentation is the VERY LAST THING anybody does and often they don't get to it ever. RadPower may never update their specs, they are too busy trying to stay alive in the market.

    Mini Confusion

Manufacturers change specs and actual delivered materiel based on costs, reliability through customer experiences and availability to meet demand. If you don't like that in an ebike, don't ever buy a boat since their construction is even more variable. I really like my mini...I don't care if...

Mini - Cable at rear axle

That's a nice looking topcase on the back in your photo. Would you share where you got it? Yours is the first mini I've seen without the front basket...sure is different that way.

Mini - Cable at rear axle

Mine is like that as well and is normal for that type of join. The metal provides taper so the cable can be pushed in easily during production and stays there. The frayed appearing ends are how most wire strippers leave a wire if you look close. The black further back does look like someone...

    Silly me and my RadMini

I suppose it would work, but I'm just riding for fun and exercise...KISS

    RadMini tire selection

I'm wondering the same thing, but have decided to use the stock ones until treadwear becomes evident. The bike paths around here are loaded with tiny gravel and other detritus, so the knobby tires work fine. I keep the tires at 30 psi so the ride is firm. Some folks have changed to other...

    Silly me and my RadMini

Doug and I are of the same height and for the same reason except I've been in the 1G gravity field 10 % longer.

    Silly me and my RadMini

I think most "guides" are written by triathelon experts, not actual recreational ebikers. For a while I had to take my battery off the bike each time to recharge, which meant the seat was in a different spot each time. I found, like you did, that optimum is with the bike seat about crotch...

    RadMini cadence speed @ 20mph

After we've had this exchange I've been working at it. Seems that I can help the motor in PAS5 if there is a headwind or slight incline. Cadence speed seemed near 100 as predicted at 20 mph on the display (I don't have a cadence computer on the bike, but I was pedaling very fast).
