A Few Questions from a Prospective Riese and Müller Buyer

Find a good bike shop that will take care of all of your needs. That is number one advice. Service it annually. I have Supercharger 2, a great bike that has served me well, with 5,000 miles on it

    Longest rides

My longest ride is 100 miles, elevation 4876 feet, Riese and Muller supercharger 2. It was a ride from San Francisco to Petaluma and back. Mostly in Eco and Tour mode with zero battery left. Supercharger 2 has 2 x 500 Wh batteries.

Dual batteries not charging in situ.

I got my bike back and this was the summary below. The bottom line is that the battery spacing was loose. I suspect that after 4000 miles, riding on some offroad trails too, with significant bouncing, that something loosened in the bottom frame and disrupted the contact. By the way, prior to...

Is an Ebike Worth it for Such Short Commutes?

A map of free charging outlets in the Bay Area?

Not looking for a full recharge, but places where I can rest for 30 min and get additional boost. You are right, in the Bay Area the real mileage I get where half the ride is in eco and the rest a mixture of turbo and speed, I get about 70 miles range with hills and all. Does Starbucks have...

A map of free charging outlets in the Bay Area?

Anyone know of a map that providers eBikers with the location of free charging outlets? I often take long rides on the weekend and would love to plan a rest at a place where I can also charge my bike. A map would be great, especially in eBike rich Bay Area.

When out of the frame, batteries individually charged overnight and power indicator showed full charge, but when placed in the frame it is showing...
