On their gear page Giant is showing a new rack for the Quick E+. It's not available yet but is coming.

    Best 28mph Pedelec Urban Bike?

I recently got a 2018 Giant Quick E+ and am very happy with it. I find it very responsive and as fast I would want. It's a stiff bike though so I've added a Body Float suspension seat post and that has greatly increased comfort especially riding over rough, patched streets. I prefer its 2" tires...

    Quick-E+

My LBS contacted Giant about a rack for the Quick E+ and got the same story about one being developed in Germany but not available for the U.S. market. My LBS has just ordered a fat tire rack to see if that would work on my Quick E+. If it doesn't work I'm going with aTopeak seat post mounted...

Body Float Suspension Seat Post Thoughts

It's a bit late but if your bf orange springs are still available I'd be interested.

Senior citizen, live on a big hill, 10 miles to grocery store

I understand your "pain". I'm 78 (male) and losing my eyesight (macular degeneration) for driving and have been looking at ebikes as a solution for getting around when I lose my drivers license. Fortunately in our small Western Montana town it is mostly flat in the valley. But I want to be able...

    Quick-E+

I've just placed an order for the 2018 Quick E+. Talked with my LBS about adapting one of the Giant racks to work with it. If it works out I'll post pictures.

    Quick-E+

One difference between the 2017 and the 2018 is the controller on the latter has been updated to the EVO. For me that's a big difference.

    Explore E+ 3 Questions

Does anyone know if the 2018 Explore E+3 can be fit with full fenders front and rear and with frame-mounted rear rack. In Europe it looks like the Explorer has been sold fully outfitted with fenders, rack, and lights. I like that it has the suspension fork. The Explorer seems to be a hybrid...

    Quick-E+

Roxlimn: Do you have the product/model number for the rack you mentioned. A picture of the rack installed on the Quick E+ would also be helpful. Just trying to imagine the connect points. I want to be able to show my Giant dealer exactly how to get a rack for a trunk bag on the bike. Thanks.

    Using a Powerfully 5 for Commuting & Touring & some off-road

I visited my local Trek dealer yesterday to look at some ebikes (Conduit+ and Lift+) and talk about ordering a Powerfly 5. I was hoping on full fenders on the PF5 but according to the shop and confirmed later in an online chat with Trek the PF5 is not set up to take full fenders. Trek...

    Raleigh Redux IE - Questions

Thanks, Chris. The Redux looks sharp with the fenders. I appreciate the information. I missed the post on lights. Lots of good info there.

    Misceo iE

I just did a demo ride of a 2016 Misceo IE in Missoula (I live in Hamilton) today. What a nice bike! It's very quiet and smooth. The gears shift nicely and quietly. I didn't have a chance to get it out to try anything other then ECO mode. The guys at the shop didn't know anything about the auto...

    Using a Powerfully 5 for Commuting & Touring & some off-road

I've also been looking at the PF5 for the same purpose and making the upgrades of fenders, lights, rack, suspension seat post, etc.

    Raleigh Redux IE - Questions

I like the Redux IE a lot and am thinking of getting one from a nearby LBS. But I have a few questions regarding accessorizing the bike. 1. Lights — I would like a headlight and taillight that are integrated into the electrical system rather than being separately charged through a USB...

    Belt-driven Vektron

Thanks, Chris. You've piqued my interest. I'll have to watch the Tern website.

New Charger and Supercharger not coming to U.S. (edit- possibly mid 2018)

There's my dream bike. I've been looking at the Delite and the Charger with Nuvinci hub and belt and have just about settled on the Charger. But I'll wait awhile and see if this new Charger makes it to North America.

    Belt-driven Vektron

The Tern Vektron is a great foldable ebike that I'm interested in. However, if Tern produced a Vektron-bike but with belt-driven internally geared hub (Nuvinci?) it would win hands down for me. It would be clean with nothing hanging down in the rear to get broken. Hope something like this is in...
