Riese & Müller Charger3, Enviolo knob very stiff

This would happen to mine occasionally when i owned it, usually caused by too much force on the pedals when twisting the shifter. Muck around pushing it forward/backward a bit whilst slowly moving the shifter would fix it.

Intro & Supercharger 2 rear wheel question

Have a yellow SC2 myself with Rolhoff e14/gates carbon belt, my previous bike had the enviolo. The gear range on the Rolhoff is much wider, hills which were a real challenge with the enviolo are a snap with the Rolhoff.Keep in mind i have a couple of disorders which severely weaken my legs. Even...

    Thule Easy Fold XT

I test fit my Fatbike recently and the wheelstraps are not long enough unless i deflate both tyres. With my wifes smaller bike mounted I have to undo the handlebars and secure them to bike frame or they hit rear door of RAV4. Its only the first test fit so there maybe other configs i can use but...

Anybody else go from a rear hub motor to mid drive?

My situation exactly i have a bafang hub drive for the dogs bike trailer its a fat bike with throttle, display says it outputs 1000w at peak it was advertised as 750w peak. I also have had 3 mid drives, one of which i still own (R&M Electric rolhoff) and it takes awhile to get used to letting...

Disadvantage of integrated mid drives that I don't see mentioned

I currently own front hub, rear hub and mid drive. Prefer mid drive for most riding, rear hub bikes tows the dog trailer-throttle equipped- and to me is a much easier bike to ride. Front hub- those are folding bikes that are currently for sale.

    My First Real Crash.

Know what you mean about the blackout bit the brain does something that turns us “off” during a traumatic event like this. You wont know if your alive till you wake up and what you recall of the incident may/may not be correct. When i totalled my R1200GS into the side of a car all i recall is...

Buying an E Bike : Riese & Muller Super Delite with Rohloff

mid drives are not for everyone/throttles are fine

I bought a Fat Ebike in AU with a throttle rear hub bafang 500W it will do 24mph, its my new dog trailer towing rig. After tweaking the electric settings I am also getting a lower geared cassete set fitted next week so the inclines I can pedal more. Now i can make a valid comparison having...

High end ebikes vs High end e scooters

Weped SS holy carp batman 10K watts of power, i hope you have lots of experience. No ETA on the DT Storm yet, if you're buying now and can afford it/ride it go the Weped SS. I'm not really sold on DT rubber dampening system, i weigh 100kg and the stock setup for me is still too hard.

Advice on eBikes to my facebook friends

Perhaps it was chance but I wrote off my R1200GS in 2017, then fell over 2 times on its replacement a 2017 Honda Africa Twin. This was before i knew i had some body systems going haywire so that had some influence. The BMW was my worse crash even though it was slow, luckily all 3 did not involve...

High end ebikes vs High end e scooters

Not correct I get quite a workout on my Dualtron Thunder, you dont just stand there like a zombie on one of these, if you do well off to the hospital for you. For someone with my health issues i didnt think an electric scooter would work out but it has, great replacement since i dont ride...

The first 1200 miles on Riese and Muller Supercharger 2

SC2 with Rolhoff here it is also the most comfortable bike I have ever owned or ridden, belt drive means no more filthy black stuff. Expensive yes but i cant drive anymore so splash the cash i did. Only nitpick is i prefer the Suntour suspension seatpost on my other one to the Thudbuster on this...

    Battery contacts and water spill

When i worked in aviation it was an approved product, I'm not actually sure how or what the engineers used it on but nothing gets put on in or around a passenger jet without multiple lines of testing data, analytics etc. I forget the certification names now but if it didn't have those certs with...
