Just figured I would let you all know that the new LMT’D was delivered and assembled today and all is well. It was definitely a frame alignment issue on the first one. Ride1up took great care of me to make it right. Now I just need this weather to pass so we can get out and ride a bit.

Just so you guys know we confirmed this was a frame alignment issue. Pretty obvious if you look at the above pics. The bike could have taken a punch while in transit or it could simply be the cumulative effect of frame manufacturing tolerances. No amount of band aid’s would have corrected this...

Thanks. I picked up these from Amazon. I haven’t installed them yet since I’m still troubleshooting chain drop issues on my LMT’D. None of the usual fixes/adjustments have resolved it.

Found and fixed two stiff chain links, but the chain is still being dropped by the front sprocket in gears 7 and 8. Does anyone know if the chain that comes on the LMT’D is a Shimano directional?

Thanks but I think that chart is just for calculating wheel circumference when wheel and tire diameters are known. It’s not really a guideline for determining how wide of a tire you can fit in a given rim width. There’s some good forum discussions out there in this question, mostly on MTB...

The short wheelbase also concerns me in terms of offsetting it’s ability to handle trails. Inherent issue with smaller frames, but looks like they could have gone with a slightly longer wheelbase to improve off road manners. Would really like to hear more from any owners, both good and bad...
