I think my nyon heard me... It's now thrown it's toys out the pram totally.. I really hope Bosch pay more attention to their control systems for bigger more dangerous vehicles. As having the bike OS crash whilst riding isn't exactly a great thing from a safety aspect.

So this is driving me insane. At some point during the setup of my Nyon, I had the option to link up journey segments before uploading to komoot. I selected to not do so. I've changed my mind and would rather it did link them all up. I've been hunting for the setting all evening. Can't find it...

I do find the watch shuts it down after a while to save battery, so the best tip I have, assign the app to one of the physical buttons on the fossil watch (it has 3). It's then easy to start up and connect.

That's mighty confusing. So some premium features are paid extras and other premium features come as standard. Seems like German efficiency has gone out the window once the marketing team take over.

Nyon question on the Lock add-on. I already mentioned, it feels mostly useless, it won't stop your bike being stolen, just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling that you screwed over the thief. Does it also lock the nyon to the motor, and prevent the nyon being used on other bikes? If someonee were...

Nyon performed equally well on all, always using cycle paths in preference when they took me to the same destination. The cycle lanes used are about 10 years old, I've not been on anything really new. I'm not in a city, but semi-rural UK town, with a good, well established cycle path network...

My only advice. If you are dropping the motor, to change the cables, be very careful about torque settings when tightening back up. Read several horror stories about stripped threads on the motor, which is an expensive problem. The TORX T30 screws should be tightened to 10nm torque. So get...

What benefits? The road legal ones I tried were awful compared to mid drives (Bosch and Yamaha). The latency was very noticeable and riding it didn't feel natural at all. I paid extra for a mid drive and never regretted it.
