    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

The problem with the Skitch is fazua isn't reliable, from my research. Seems like sticking with the Creo is the way to go. The lack of connectivity with my Garmin would be a serious bummer.

    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

Absolutely correct, but that does't do much for the range as a clydesdale (225 lbs) rider. The bike itself arrived about 4 pounds heavier than the Creo 1 equivalent (set up as gravel). After some simple upgrades updates (upgrade from the super heavy SX cassette, lighter (road) tires and a host...

    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

I’m built pretty similar to the OP (& about 225 pounds) and have been riding a Creo 1, and later Creo 2 for 4 years now. How does the Canyon compare on noise, range and overall technology integration? My biggest disappointment with the Creo 1 was the noise. On the Creo 2 it’s the range, which...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

Did this require any heroics to get the left arm off the spindle?

    Tero X 5.0 Fenders removed

I have a Garmin seat mount - it bolts to those two holes in the seat. Gets it a little higher and I worry (a little) less about it coming off. Pic stolen from the web, but it looks like this: My Varia has the blinking light built in.

    Tero X 5.0 Fenders removed

That looks so much better! I really don’t like fenders. I get they serve a purpose, but can’t stand the look.

    specialized creo 2

Well - specialized gets my money again! I Plopped down for an Expert. My LBS is giving a decent return on the Creo 1 on trade, so I couldn't refuse. I used the Creo 1 to much success racing some eGravel events in Colorado - this one looks competitive for that! Interestingly, it is...

    2023 Trek Domane+

Interesting - I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger on a Domane+ vs a Specialized Creo 2 (I have the original Creo 1, which has been magnificent, but I"d like more power and a quieter motor). I think a noise like that might make crazy.

    2023 Trek Domane+

The other thing I've read about is noise from Do any of these sound like your issue?

    2023 Trek Domane+

There was a thing with the lock ring getting loose, which makes a similar racket Have you checked that?

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

The Skitch is available at the online resellers suggested by Santa Cruz in a variety of sizes, I am cross-shopping that one too. I'm really on the fence now with this release. I had hoped to use my nice carbon CLX wheels in road boost, now that is off the table, so it changes my perspective a...

    New CREOs just Dropped!

Pretty radically different than the previous model - not just a re-motor job. The road boost is gone, the geometry has changed, and they are all gavel now. +1 for the fork bottle mounts - stoked on that!

2023 (2024?) Turbo Creo Rumor Thread

Nothing out there yet - I was thinking of going Trek Domane+ for the same reason, but have decided to wait and trade my emtb instead for a Levo SL. Oddly my Creo has gotten quieter as it ages, however you do need to make sure that the pinch bolt on the spider stays torqued, as well as the...

2023 (2024?) Turbo Creo Rumor Thread

So interesting - downloaded Blevo and the battery shows 91% (about what I guessed). The bike is a US spec class 3 (45 kph cutoff). If I save a config in Blevo, will that mess that up? I see where I can change that and the wheel circumference in the app. Is that functional?

2023 (2024?) Turbo Creo Rumor Thread

Ah cool - I was thinking that was suspect - guessing from my own range-o-meter I'd say its about 92%. Aging gracefully, but not 100%.

2023 (2024?) Turbo Creo Rumor Thread

Here is my Creo (it started life as a comp carbon evo) all pimped out: I went full SRAM rival with a nice close ratio cassette in the back, Carbon Terra CLX boost wheels, Specialized Armadillos (I HATE flats) and a wireless dropper. Then I added a smaller 44t chainring, Carbon cranks from...

2023 (2024?) Turbo Creo Rumor Thread

With the new SL 1.2 I am now reconsidering whether or not I go through with a Trek Domane+ SLR purchase or wait for Specialized to update the Creo. I have a Creo SL from 2020 that has been super reliable, and it has helped me to become fit enough to easily top out the class 3 max of 28 mph...

    2023 Trek Domane+

Hi Antonio, Welcome to the thread! :) I ride a Specialized Creo SL, but have a project one Domane+ SLR 9 in the wings - I hope to have it in my hands in a few weeks, so stay tuned! I'll certainly post here when I get some time on it. I haven't ridden the Gain, but I have ridden other hub...

    2023 Trek Domane+

Joining in this thread, seems like we've all chatted before about the Creo. :) As a 2 year Creo SL owner I took the plunge and ordered a Project One SLR9 (Shimano) to replace my admittedly still great Creo. My dealer had one I could see and ride in an SL7 build, although completely the wrong...
