I thought I read somewhere that the bluetooth batts wouldn't work on the base Turbo. I can't remember where I read it though.

Hurts my ears. Haha. And besides for what I paid for this and being that these turbo's are supposed to be known for their super quietness, there is no way I will ride around like this. I will learn how to fix this for every time it arises. From what I have been watching and reading, it's not...

I don't think that's the problem. It's not rubbing. Only squeaks when I brake. Just some glazing on the pads from what I read. Bike only has about 30 miles on it. I will just have to learn what to use to get the glaze off the pads. Anyone with a new base turbo recommend new better pads?

So I got her Thudbuster ST in today and it was a piece of cake to drill a hole in the top for the seat light. Got it out of the box and up and riding in 30 minutes. Her back brakes are squeaking already though. What are you all doing to remedy this? From what I read this is pretty common.

useless on top. all you see is your arm. and if i swing it below i just cant get a good view and it is just in the way. easy enough to just turn my head just like when driving my car.

Thanks Doug, good to know. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend so my wife was only able to ride a little on Saturday and only used about half of the first charge so thats why I was wondering how for she let let the battery drain before we charge it again.

Is there a limit on how low you can let the battery get? Or does it start to cut out or lose power at a certain percentage? --JD

I've read that you can drill a hole in the thudbuster ST for the seat light wire on the Specialized Turbo. Can you do the same thing for the LT post?

Hey Court, regarding the liplock clamp. How/where does this thing go? Do you clamp it on the seatpost right above the seat tube clamp or does it replace the seat tube clamp? Thanks....JD

Picked hers up today...Still waiting for my S. She thinks it is the greatest thing ever made. Removed the mirror and the handlebar and seat reflectors. The Schwabe tires didn't get delivered but after riding these all day we just decided to keep the stock tires for a while.

Any recommendations?

Yeah your probably right. I will just have to look into some other type of hitch mount.

After further investigation I found that the specs say 35 lbs. per bike weight limit so I guess if I remove the batteries first I could probably get by.

I have a Yakima rack over my spare tire on the back of my jeep. I looked at the specs online and it says max weight is only 35lbs. Does anyone make a rack for the spare tire that will hold a couple heavy ebikes?

Exactly, I like everything black or dark grey. I don't like to stand out in the crowd.:D And my Roubaix is the exact same color scheme as the new Turbo S. I think I would maybe have gotten the Turbo X if it were black and red but I don't really like the black with the blue accents. Haha, just me...

Yeah at this point I told my dealer whichever they can get first, a L or XL, I will take it.... :) My inseam is 34 BTW so I think I am in between a L and XL frame.

Well I just hope I can hold out until the spring. My wife's base Turbo will be ready this weekend and she is upset now that she won't be able to ride with me. I really want the S but if I can't hold out I might have to get the X at some point. I will hold out through next month though and see if...

Well just talked to my dealer and he said there isn't a large frame anywhere in the country and Specialized told him it might not be until March before they can get one. I mean really? If they are selling that fast, Specialized needs to ramp up production.
